Striatech GmbH is a young biotech company that spun off from the University of Tübingen in early 2018. The founders - a team of neurobiologists - are all experienced vision researchers and have made it their common goal to make innovative ideas and products from vision and behavioral research accessible to scientists worldwide.
With our flagship product OptoDrum, we offer a non-invasive alternative to study the visual performance of laboratory rodents. The OptoDrum uses software to analyze the behavior of the animals and thus evaluate their vision. One area of application for this solution is in the development of therapies for eye diseases.
