This study introduces a novel self-generated electricity-driven drug delivery system (EDDDS) for precise myopia treatment. By integrating nanotechnology and smart drug delivery, the EDDDS uses drug-coated nanogenerators to release therapeutic agents like atropine directly to ocular tissues. The system is activated by electric fields generated during eye closure, enabling controlled and targeted drug administration while also alleviating ciliary muscle tension through weak voltage. This dual mechanism not only slows myopia progression but also enhances overall treatment efficacy. To validate the model, the Photorefractor was employed to measure refractive errors in guinea pigs, while the Keratometer assessed corneal curvature and radius. These tools provided precise, non-invasive measurements critical for evaluating treatment outcomes. The EDDDS demonstrates significant potential as a high-precision therapeutic approach, addressing limitations of existing myopia treatments and paving the way for future clinical applications.
