Innovation Spotlight: The ERG Booster

At ARVO, we are pleased to give a first glimpse of our upcoming innovation for preclinical retinal research: the ERG Booster.

Standard clinical ERG systems are primarily designed for human vision and may overlook critical aspects of rodent retinal physiology. The ERG Booster extends these systems to better address the specific requirements of murine models and improve translational relevance.

Key highlights of the ERG Booster:

  • Dedicated UV stimulation to activate S-opsin-sensitive cones
  • Adaptation of human ERG systems to rodent photoreceptor physiology
  • Enhanced signal sensitivity and data completeness
  • More physiologically accurate ERG characterization of the rodent retina

Co-developed with Prof. Mathias Seeliger (University Eye Hospital Tübingen), the ERG Booster is designed to support reliable and standardized ERG measurements in advanced animal research.

Visit us at booth #5002 to see the ERG Booster in action.
