In the course of this year’s Advent calendar we have opened the new section “Striatech Expert to Expert Interview”. We are very happy to have won Prof. Botond Roska from the Institute of Molecular and Clinical Ophthalmology Basel (IOB) as our first interview guest!

Topics of the interview include the mission of the IOB, what Botond finds thrilling about recent developments for treating blindness, and why animal models are still important in basic research.
