Innovation for Researchers

Several updates were launched to make research easier and more effective.

OptoDrum:

• major software update with the new feature of colored stimuli
• new non-aversive animal platform, developed with the NIH, designed for reliable measurements with “difficult” animals

Photorefractor:

• enhanced software for streamlined data evaluation and more robust results

Knowledge Exchange

Our Journal Club hosted three expert-led sessions in 2025, offering direct discussions on current research topics. In addition, six Paper Recommendations highlighted recent studies where Striatech solutions supported new insights. These formats are designed to help researchers stay informed and provide practical perspectives for experimental work.

Conferences and Networking

This year, we joined nine international conferences, including ARVO in Salt Lake City, FELASA in Athens and EVER in Florence. Together with our distributors, these meetings created valuable opportunities to share ideas, explore solutions and strengthen the vision science community worldwide.

Giving Back: PRO RETINA Foundation

As part of our year-end reflections and in the spirit of the festive season, Striatech is once again proud to continue supporting the PRO RETINA Foundation, Germany’s largest non-profit patient organization for people living with retinal diseases. Contributions in 2025 helped fund new research projects and patient support initiatives, supporting the vision community and advancing knowledge in the field.
